Custom-made light fixtures, rift oak paneling, and a palette of blues, browns, and warm neutrals compliment the architecture and bring in a bit of serenity. “We didn’t want the home to feel too decorated- which means we needed to select each piece with thought and intention.” Says Lester. “How will this feel? Look? Play off of the other design elements? In this home especially designing everything all at once enabled us to achieve a more minimalistic aesthetic with these really special handmade elements created just for the space. Everything comes together in the end and it’s a perfect balance of texture, pattern, color and the unexpected.”
